Overview

Are you feeling adventurous and do you want to climb Mongolia’s highest summit? Then, look no further. Our fully supported expedition brings you to Mongolia’s highest peaks, to the highest summit of Mount Khuiten standing at 4,374 meters above sea level. These majestic snowcapped mountains are part of the Altai Mountain range where Mongolia, Russia, China, and Kazakhstan converge. Our experienced mountaineering guides will lead the team with support from local herders as porters along with their camel caravan. Traverse Mongolia’s longest – Potanin Glacier – on the way. You will also have the opportunity to visit local families of Kazakh and Tuvan backgrounds, and learn about their nomadic ways of living. Meet the Kazakh hunters, who use golden eagles for hunting purposes as did their ancestors did many hundreds of years ago.

The September date is including the Eagle Festival.
